Introducing Snackable Stories
Looking for a Saturday morning activity that’s both educational and delicious? Join us for our new event series, Snackable Stories, at the Public Market! We’re kicking off the Kids Summer Reading & Cooking series with a fan favorite.
What to expect?
Kids will have the opportunity to work with James from our kitchen to prepare their own meal. Then while enjoying their culinary creation, they will hear a story that perfectly matches the food.
Our first event will be a special one, as Mr. B (aka Michael Brambila) will be our guest reader. Some of you might know Mr. B from the Ohio County Public Library, but here is a nice Weelunk article about him and the wonderful work he does for kids:

📖 The Story: A live reading of Dragons Love Tacos with Mr. B.
👨🍳 The Cooking: Hands-on “Build Your Own Taco” workshop with James.
