BE A PRODUCER

Do you make or grow something that belongs at the Public Market?

We provide the opportunity to sell local goods on consignment, because we’re committed to providing higher returns to growers, bakers, and makers like you.

On consignment, you set your own prices and retain 70-80% of profits from sales. The market retains a commission to cover our staffing and operating expenses. We work to keep our commission as low as possible to maximize returns to regional food producers. Commission percentages are as follows:

1. 20% for highly perishable products such as: produce, cut flowers, milk, baked goods and local meats.

2. 25% for shelf stable foods such as: eggs, cheese, jams, honey, syrup, grains, granola, live plants and frozen foods.

3. 30% for non-perishable craft items including: pottery, jewelry, baskets, clothing items, and beauty products.

In some cases, we can also accommodate wholesale relationships.
